Un Beau

Un Beau Jour is France's first all-in-one wedding destination: editorial blog, vendor directory, guides, and a soon-to-launch e-shop. During my apprenticeship at Studio 9P, I co-designed the full site redesign with Nicolas Alain, covering UX, design, 33 pages and 26 modules, as well as the entire Shopify shop, before co-developing everything in Webflow.

Context & intention

The existing site was outdated, unclear and no longer reflected the brand's ambition. Working as an equal partner with Nicolas Alain, I handled the UX and design redesign end to end: page architecture, user flow design, and the construction of a shared 26-module design system built to hold timelines and maintain visual consistency. Content migration from WordPress to the Webflow CMS was handled by developer Ludo. Everything else in Webflow, meaning the entire site build, was developed by Nicolas and me.

Process & production

The main challenge was twofold: making a dense flow of information, covering articles, inspirations, testimonials, guides and a vendor directory, both easy to manage on the client side and effortless to browse on the user side, without ever compromising the premium feel of the brand. Component work was central to achieving this: 26 reusable modules designed to cover all 33 pages while enabling fast updates.

In parallel, Nicolas and I designed the e-shop in Shopify within the same art direction: a large-scale structure with 9 main categories, dozens of sub-categories and hundreds of product references, from wedding dresses to sugared almonds, decorative arches and smoke cannons. The e-shop launches in 2027.
