Caractère Bois is a French furniture and wood objects brand. On this Studio 9P project, I handled the e-commerce integration, connecting Shopify to Webflow via Smootify to give the client the best of both tools.

My work focused on the e-commerce side: product pages, cart and checkout. The challenge was combining Webflow's design flexibility with Shopify's back-office robustness, without forcing the client to navigate two complex interfaces.

I connected Shopify to the Webflow CMS using Smootify. The principle: whenever a product is updated in Shopify, the change automatically reflects on the live site through the Webflow CMS. The client manages their catalog and inventory in Shopify, while the design remains fully controlled in Webflow. A clean architecture that avoids the usual trade-offs between user experience and operational management.
